Our ‘Moulin-à-Vent 2023’ ranked at the top of the list of the 100 best wines in France

This ranking presents the best wines tasted over the past year.
‘It is still often mistakenly believed that the greatest French wines are necessarily powerful reds, so tannic that they cannot be drunk young, and that they cost a fortune.’ James Suckling proves otherwise!

For the second year running, we had the honour of welcoming Stuart Pigott, taster for James Suckling.com, to the estate. He was able to appreciate all of our vintages, all of which received remarkable scores of between 91 and 98 points.
Our 2023 vintage ‘Moulin-à-Vent Les Vérillats’ was ranked 13th among the 100 best French wines with a score of 98/100.

Moulin-à-Vent Les Vérillats 2023
James Suckling's comments :
"Welcome to the heart of a starry night in Moulin-à-Vent.
Breathtaking concentration and breadth, but with such delicious delicacy that you forget everything else. At the upper end of medium-bodied.
It has an extremely complex structure, fine tannins and minerals, and an almost endless finish that is very inspiring.
Aged 100% in oak barrels. Long-lasting. From a 0.57-hectare plot. Drink now, but try to be patient."
